The women scored 11 runs in the fourth inning, marking the first time in program history the Hoos scored at least 10 runs in a single inning. Shelby Barbee hit her third home run of the series, and Abby Weaver went 3-for-3 at the plate. Weaver and Barbee both had huge three-run home runs. 🔼 Series Dub. The baseball team won its series against Boston College with game two and three wins. The men won game two 4-3. Aidan Teel made a huge diving catch in left field to halt a bases-loaded threat. In game three, the pitchers were on the dot, and the Cavaliers won 4-0. Five pitchers combined for a five-hit shutout.
🔼 One Dub. The rowing team competed in the Longhorn Invite and won the Second Varsity Four event. The team had a time of 7:11.565 to take first place. Rowing for the win were Zoe Tekeian, Sophia Coppola, Paige Loh, Izzie Bird, Stella Bittman, Riley Richardson, Teagan Orth, Lily Jarrett and Kate McGee.
🔼 Selection Show. The selection show for the NCAA men’s lacrosse tournament airs on Sunday night. Our team has an excellent overall record of 10-4, no bad losses and a strong RPI, so we are well-positioned to make the tournament field.
