🔼 Mark Your Calendars! The football team announced additions to upcoming schedules! The Cavaliers added a home-and-home non-conference series with NC State and two home games against VMI. UVA has faced NC State a total of 60 times since the very first game between the two in 1904. The men have faced VMI dating back to 1893, and the Cavaliers lead the series 57-23-3.

🔼 Ticket Punched! The men’s golf team finished in second place in the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional. The team finished with a score of 851 (-13). Bryan Lee led the Cavaliers with a score of 212 (-4), which put him in eighth place in the individual rankings. Ben James was right behind, tied for ninth place, with a score of 213 (-3). UVA advances to the NCAA Championships in Carlsbad, Calif., starting on May 24.

🔼 Trio of Honors. The College Sports Communicators named three Cavaliers to the 2024 Academic All-District Men’s Tennis Team— Chris Rodesch, Jeffrey von der Schulenburg and James Hopper. The award is given to the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. This is the second tie Rodesch and von der Schulenburg have earned the honor.

🔼 Three Honors. The College Sports Communicators named Natasha Subhash, Mélodie Collard and Annabelle Xu to the 2024 Academic All-District Women’s Tennis Team. This is Subhash’s second time earning All-District, and she is also a two-time Academic All-American. Each of these athletes was in the lineup for at least 70% of the total matches played that include team scores this season, and has at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA.
