🔼 A Big Day Coming. It has been nearly 10 months since Virginia football last played at Scott Stadium.

Saturday’s home opener against James Madison will be unlike any other for the Cavaliers, as UVA will honor Lavel Davis Jr., Devin Chandler and D’Sean Perry, who were shot and killed after returning to Grounds from a class field trip last November.

🔼 Get There Early. Hoos fans, plan on getting to Scott Stadium early for this Saturday’s noon game against James Madison!

To support this weekend’s game being an “Orange Out” event, Virginia will be handing out orange “UVA Strong” t-shirts to the first 35,000 fans in attendance.

Gates open at 10:30 a.m.!

🔼 A Night To Remember. Virginia men’s soccer’s final two games of the 2022 season ended the same way — in a shootout loss.

“They tell you it’s not your fault, but you wake up in the middle of the night and you’re dreaming of it,” UVA goalkeeper Holden Brown said.

Monday night against No. 20 Maryland, Brown flipped the script with a penalty kick save in the 58th minute to keep the lead safe with the Hoos.

🔼 It Took All Five. Virginia volleyball won a five-set thriller against Old Dominion on Tuesday to run its win streak to three matches.

ODU won the first set, and the two teams traded wins until Virginia won the fifth and deciding set, 18-16.

Lauryn Bowie led Virginia in kills with 18, and Ashley Le led in assists with 43.
