🔼 Conference Clash. No. 6 Virginia field hockey welcomes in No. 14 Boston College this evening for its ACC opener.

The Hoos are riding a four-game win streak into the showdown with the Eagles, while BC is 3-2 on the season with a pair of 1-0 OT losses to No. 2 Northwestern and No. 3 Maryland.

🔼 Home Opener. Virginia men’s soccer hosts NC State for its ACC home opener tomorrow at 7 p.m.

The Wolfpack are 4-2 with wins the last two times out against Boston College and Howard. The Hoos sit at 3-2-1, playing No. 9 James Madison to a 1-1 draw last time out.

🔼 Tourney Time. The Jefferson Cup Invitational kicks off this weekend in Charlottesville, with Norfolk State, George Washington and Wofford joining Virginia volleyball at the event.

The Hoos line up against Norfolk State today at 7 p.m., with a matchup against either GW or Wofford on Saturday.

🔼 ACC Opener. The unbeaten Virginia women’s soccer team (5-0-2) opens up ACC play tomorrow night when it travels to take on Louisville.

The Cardinals are 1-4-3 on the season, their lone win coming against Central Michigan on Sept. 3.

⚔️ Virginia Women’s Golf Hosts Wahoowa Invitational This Weekend. Players from Virginia, James Madison, Iowa State, Maryland, Penn State, Princeton and West Virginia will all be competing.

⚔️ Six UVA Men’s Tennis Athletes Competing In South Carolina. The Hoos will compete against players from Arizona, Auburn, Columbia, Duke, Michigan State, North Carolina, NC State and Wake Forest.
