🔼 Complete Performance. Virginia football head coach Tony Elliott has emphasized the important of the fourth quarter countless times to his players this year.

And at practice on Tuesday morning, he did so again.

🔼 Earning His Way. Mitchell Whalen didn’t have any Division I lacrosse offers coming out of Buford High School in Georgia.

When he was accepted at UVA, he emailed Lars Tiffany to ask if he could try out for the team. Four years later, he’s a captain on one of the best college lacrosse teams in the country.

Virginia’s Stephen Annor Gyamfi scored less than five minutes into the contest, and the Hoos held on for most of the match, before JMU answered back in the 89th minute with the equalizer.

🔼 One More Round. Megan Propeck matched a career-best round, shooting 4-under 68 at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate on Tuesday.

Propeck is in 30th place overall at even par. Amanda Sambach, medalist at the event last year, is currently in 15th place at 2-under.
