The Hoos host the Terps on the gridiron this Saturday, and the men’s hoops programs just announced a four-game series starting in 2025-26!

🔼 Give Me Liberty. Virginia volleyball heads to Lynchburg today to begin a three-match weekend at the Liberty Tournament.

The Hoos take on ETSU today at 6 p.m. before playing a pair of matches tomorrow against West Virginia at 10 a.m. and Liberty at 7 p.m.

🏐 PREVIEW: Cavaliers Travel To Non-Conference Tournament At Liberty

🔼 ACC Opener. Virginia women’s soccer made its way through non-conference play completely unscathed, and finds itself all the way up at No. 2 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll as it heads to Miami to open up ACC play against the Hurricanes today at 7 p.m.

Miami is 3-2-1 on the season and has won three straight contests heading into Thursday’s conference opener.

🔼 Unconventional All-American. As a second-year student at UVA, Jenny Schilling was a member of the running club on Grounds.

As a third-year, she joined the cross country program as a walk-on and became an All-American by finishing 39th at the NCAA Championships.

“I’m biased, but I think it’s one of the cooler stories in the last 20 years in terms of running here at the University,” said Alec Lorenzoni, a former UVA runner who’s one of the owners of Ragged Mountain Running and Walking Shop on the Corner.

“It would be like Tony Bennett seeing some guy at Mem Gym, and then he ends up being first- or second-team All-ACC.”
