🔼 Trees In Town. Virginia men’s soccer hosts Stanford for the first time as ACC opponents tonight at Klöckner Stadium at 7:30 p.m.

The Cardinal are the No. 2 team in the country, with a 7-1-1 overall record and 2-0-1 mark in ACC play.

🔼 Top-10 Tilt. No. 3 Virginia field hockey gets yet another test this weekend, traveling to Durham, N.C. to take on No. 9 Duke today at 4 p.m.

The Blue Devils are 4-3 on the season with losses against three top-12 teams. Today’s game will serve as Duke’s ACC opener.

The Hoos will be back at home on Sunday, taking a break from conference play to host William & Mary at 1 p.m. The Tribe is yet to win this season at 0-8.

🔼 Away From Home. No. 19 Virginia women’s soccer has another opportunity to earn a marquee win today, as it travels to take on No. 4 North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

The Tar Heels are 10-1 on the season and 3-0 so far in ACC play — a trio of 1-0 wins over Wake Forest, Pitt and Syracuse.

🔼 ACC Action. Virginia volleyball and its seven-match win streak cross into ACC play this weekend, traveling to the state of North Carolina for matchups against Wake Forest and NC State.

The Hoos take on the Demon Deacons (8-3) today at 7 p.m. before heading to Raleigh on Sunday for a 1 p.m. matchup against the Wolfpack (5-3).

🔼 Year 2. In her first season as Virginia women’s lacrosse head coach, Sonia LaMonica guided the Hoos to the No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament and 15 wins, their highest total since 2007.

🔼 Back On Course. After a week away from competition, Virginia cross country is back out there this weekend, traveling to Wisconsin for the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison.

Both the Virginia men and women are coming off second-place finishes at the Virginia Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 14.

🔼 Looking For Liberty. Members of the Virginia men’s tennis team will be in Lynchburg this weekend to compete at the Liberty Fall Tournament against players from Liberty, Charlotte, Elon, Navy, Old Dominion, Penn, Princeton and William & Mary.

🔼 Right Down The Middle. There will be some familiar faces throwing out the first pitch in Washington, D.C. this Sunday!
