🔼 Top Team Wins. No. 1 Virginia women’s soccer lived up to its ranking on Thursday, traveling to Clemson and beating the Tigers, 3-0.

Lia Godfrey, Meredith McDermott and Allie Ross each scored for the Hoos, who next take on Virginia Tech on Saturday, Oct. 4 in Charlottesville.

🔼 ACC Action. Virginia volleyball begins ACC play this weekend, welcoming both No. 3 Stanford and Cal to John Paul Jones Arena.

The Hoos host the Cardinal (9-2) tomorrow at 1 p.m. and the Bears (3-7) on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

🔼 Tar Heels In Town. No. 12 Virginia men’s soccer is home again this weekend, hosting North Carolina tomorrow at 7 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium.

The Hoos have wins over a pair of top-10 teams in their last two matches, including a 6-3 win over then-No. 1 Wake Forest on Sept. 19.

🔼 Way Out West. No. 3 Virginia field hockey takes its undefeated record to the West Coast this weekend for a pair of ACC matchups against Cal and Stanford.

The Hoos play the Bears (3-4, 0-2 ACC) today at 9 p.m. ET, before heading to the other side of the Bay to play the Cardinal (3-5, 0-2 ACC) on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.
