🔼 Run, Hoos, Run. Virginia football ran all over Coastal Carolina on Saturday in front of a standing-room-only crowd in Conway, S.C., winning 43-24 and totaling 384 yards on the ground. Let’s take a look back at the win that improved the Hoos to 3-1 on the season:

🔼 California Dream. No. 3 Virginia field hockey picked up a pair of ACC wins this weekend, welcoming conference newcomers Cal and Stanford to Charlottesville and sending them home with losses.
The Hoos took down Cal, 4-3, on Friday before winning with a bit more breathing room against Stanford on Sunday, 5-1. Daniela Mendez-Trendler scored twice against the Bears, and Noa Boterman did the same against the Cardinal.

🔼 Movin’ Up. Virginia men’s golf sits in third place after two days at the Valero Texas Collegiate, moving up one spot on the leaderboard during Sunday’s second round.
Ben James sits in fifth place at 6-under to lead the Hoos, who are 11 strokes behind tournament-leading Ole Miss.

🔼 West Coast Road Trip. Virginia men’s soccer traveled to California over the weekend for its first ACC matchup against the Bears, playing to a 1-1 draw in Berkeley.
Cal scored first in the 56th minute, but the Hoos answered back almost immediately with a Kome Ubogu goal in the 59th minute to earn the draw.

🔼 No Luck. No. 14 Virginia women’s soccer dropped a tough 1-0 contest against No. 16 Notre Dame on Sunday at Klöckner Stadium.
The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, but was pushed to Sunday due to inclement weather.
The Hoos next head out onto the road for a matchup at No. 8 North Carolina on Friday night.
