⚔️ And much, much more!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 UVA Strong Day. Virginia football returns to Scott Stadium tomorrow and begins its three-game homestand as the Hoos host in-state foe William & Mary (1-1) at noon on ACC Network.

The Virginia football program will honor the lives and memories Lavel Davis Jr., Devin Chandler and D’Sean Perry as part of UVA Strong Day at Scott Stadium. The three football players tragically lost their lives in an on-campus shooting on Nov. 13, 2022. Permanent memorials are displayed on the south end zone fascia at Scott Stadium, with additional plaques located along UVA’s “Legends Walk” on the north end zone concourse.

🔼 Rounding Into Form. Virginia men’s basketball is starting to take shape under first-year head coach Ryan Odom, with the season now just over 50 days away!

🔼 Down Goes Duke! No. 5 Virginia women’s soccer got off to a hot start to ACC play on Thursday, taking down No. 2 Duke in Charlottesville, 3-1!

Lia Godfrey, Ella Carter and Laney Rouse each scored a goal for the Hoos against the Blue Devils.

🔼 Double Dose. Virginia volleyball is back home this weekend after its midweek trip to Auburn, hosting Michigan for a pair of matches at the Aquatics & Fitness Center.

The Hoos and Wolverines will play today at 6 p.m. and tomorrow at 11 a.m.

🔼 Home Track. Virginia cross country will run on familiar ground this weekend, hosting the Virginia Invitational this morning at Panorama Farms.

The men’s 8k race will begin at 8:45 a.m. with the women’s 5k race to follow at 9:30 a.m.

🔼 Serves Up. Virginia men’s tennis competes at home this weekend, hosting the Orange and Blue Classic in Charlottesville.

Competition begins today at 2 p.m. and runs through Sunday afternoon.

🔼 Ready To Roll. Virginia women’s tennis opens its fall schedule this weekend, traveling to Chapel Hill, N.C. for the Kitty Harrison Invitational.

🔼 New Digs. It might be an exaggeration, but only a slight one, to say that jaws dropped during tours of the new Harrison Family Olympic Sports Center at the Ramon W. Breeden Athletic Grounds—and not only those of the University of Virginia student-athletes who’ll use the facility.

“In my wildest dreams, I never would have envisioned this,” Kent Merritt said as he surveyed the 12,800-square foot strength and conditioning room at the Harrison Center.

🔼 Duking It Out. No. 3 Virginia field hockey plays its final game before the beginning of ACC play this weekend, hosting James Madison this Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Dukes are 3-2 this season and carry a two-game win streak into Sunday’s matchup.
