🔼 Almost Time For Kickoff. Football fans, we only have one more sleep until Virginia is back inside Scott Stadium!
The Hoos take on Richmond at 6 p.m. on ACC Network Extra, with the first 30,000 fans through the gates receiving a special UVA Strong shirt in conjunction with UVA Strong Day.

🔼 Plug In. Ahmad Hawkins, who played for George Welsh at Virginia, has contributed to his alma mater’s football program in numerous ways over the past two decades, and he has a new role this season.

🔼 Goal After Goal. Virginia men’s soccer had the offense working on Thursday, scoring five goals in a win over Saint Joseph’s at Klöckner Stadium.
Reese Miller scored twice for the Hoos, who also received goals from Nick Dang, Hayes Wood and Max Talley.
🔼 Go Time. No. 3 Virginia field hockey begins its season with a ranked matchup today, traveling to State College, Pa. for a 4 p.m. contest against No. 16 Penn State.
🔼 Triple Dip. Virginia volleyball gets its season underway with a triple-header this weekend in Norfolk, taking on Marist, William & Mary and host Old Dominion at the Quest For The Crown.
The Hoos take on the Red Foxes today at 4:30 p.m., with matchups against the Tribe and Monarchs tomorrow at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively.
🔼 Off And Running. Virginia cross country is in Richmond this weekend to kick off its season, running in the Spider Alumni Open tomorrow at 9:15 a.m.
Both the Virginia men and women are coming off third place finishes at last year’s ACC Championships.

🔼 Keep It Rolling. Virginia women’s soccer puts its four-match win streak on the line this Sunday, traveling to Harrisonburg to take on James Madison at 6 p.m.
The Hoos have outscored opponents 11-1 this season.
🔼 Another Door Opens. Skylar Dahl fought to keep her childhood dream of playing college basketball alive for as long as she could. Born with bilateral clubfeet, the pain simply grew too intense.
She has reshaped those dreams, and the fourth-year Virginia rower is now just days away from her first Paralympic appearance for Team USA.
