🔼 We’re Almost There! There are only 10 DAYS left until the Hoos are back inside Scott Stadium kicking off the 2024 season against Richmond!

🔼 Extending The Range. Virginia kicker Will Bettridge was 18 for 21 on field goals last season, with a long of 46 yards.

This season, he’s got bigger goals. Or you might say longer goals.

“I’m definitely looking at about 53 [yards] and in,” he said at fall camp.

🔼 Look Hoos No. 1. Virginia field hockey has been voted to finish first in the ACC by the conference’s coaches!

And on top of the team recognition, each of Tyler Kennedy, Jans Croon, Noa Boterman and Daniela Mendez-Trendler were named to the Preseason All-ACC team.

🔼 High Score. That’s no typo — Virginia’s Maddie Alaimo really totaled 26 points in four games during pool play at the U20 World Lacrosse Women’s Championship!

🔼 Leading The Way. Introducing your 2024 Virginia men’s soccer captains — Paul Wiese, Albin Gashi and Umberto Pelà!

🔼 That’s What He Does. It didn’t take Virginia alum Payton Cormier very long to announce himself to the world of professional lacrosse!
