🥇 HOOS AT THE PARIS OLYMPICS

🔼 Emily Sonnett & USWNT Grab Gold In Paris. The United States won gold for the fifth time with a 1-0 win over Brazil in the gold medal match.

🔼 Pien Dicke Wins Gold With The Natherlands. Dicke had been a reserve for the Dutch field hockey team and was moved to the active roster ahead of the gold medal match against China.

🔼 Andrenette Knight Represents Jamaica In 4×400M Final In Paris. Despite a strong run, Team Jamaica did not finish the race and recorded a DNF.

🔼 Come Fly With Us. The $80 million Hardie Football Operations Center off Massie Road, which opened in June, is a 93,000-square-foot facility including a locker room, strength and conditioning space, nutrition spaces, meeting rooms, coaches’ offices, video operations and sports medicine areas.

🔼 Hut, Hut, Hike. Virginia center Brian Stevens has been named to the 2024 Rimington Trophy Watch List!

Stevens started all 12 games last season for the Hoos, including 10 at center, and was ranked No. 14 at the position across all of FBS according to Pro Football Focus.

🔼 Tee It Up. Virginia men’s golfers Ben James, Bryan Lee, Deven Patel and Paul Chang will all open play at the U.S. Amateur Championship today at Hazeltine National Golf Club and the Chaska Town Course in Chaska, Minn.

🔼 Super Swede. Former Virginia men’s basketball player Ben Vander Plas is headed to Sweden to play with Jamtland!
