🔼 Quite The Resume. A current US National Team member serving as an assistant coach on Sonia LaMonica’s women’s lacrosse staff? Sounds great to us!

Caylee Waters, a two-time National Goalie of the Year and goalie for the US National Team, will now be coaching up the Hoos. She has spent time as a volunteer assistant at both Army West Point and her alma mater, North Carolina, leading up to her hiring at Virginia.

🔼 Oh So Close. We are Byron Thweatt days away from Virginia football!

Thweatt was a menace on the Hoo defense, collecting 387 tackles over his Virginia career, which spanned from 1998-2000.

🔼 Swiss In China. Virginia’s Jeffrey von der Schulenburg is in China this week competing at the FISU World University Games, representing Switzerland.

The rising senior is the No. 10 seed in the singles draw, and has defeated Lung Roger Ng Ki in straight sets to advance to the third round. Von der Schulenburg and Jonas Fabian Schar are partnering for doubles competition, where they earned the No. 8 seed.
