UVA scored the game’s first 24 points and cruised to a 34-8 win over ACC rival NC State. It was the first sellout at Scott Stadium since 2008, and the Wahoos couldn’t have scripted a much more dominating performance.

🔼 Late Winner! No. 13 Virginia women’s soccer improved to 4-0-0 on Sunday with a 2-1 win over Yale at Klöckner Stadium!

Ella Carter got the scoring started with a goal in the 12th minute, and Sophia Bradley scored the game-winner in the 76th minute after Yale had found the net in the 14th minute.

🔼 Overtime Winner! No. 5 Virginia field hockey played extra time in its season opener at Penn State on Friday, with Mia Abello scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to give the Hoos a thrilling 4-3 victory over the Nittany Lions!

🔼 All Hoos! Virginia men’s soccer picked up its first win of the season on Friday night, beating American, 4-0, at Klöckner Stadium!

AJ Smith matched a career-high in points with one goal and one assist while Prince Abanfo and Chase Duke both registered goal involvements in their first career starts.

The Hoos are back out on the pitch today, hosting Florida Gulf Coast at 6 p.m.

🔼 First Match. Virginia volleyball kicked off the regular season on Sunday inside John Paul Jones Arena, dropping a four-set match to American.

Reese Wuebker paced the Cavalier offense on Sunday with a match-high 18 kills in her UVA debut. Lauryn Bowie joined Wuebker in double digits by killing 14 balls of her own.

🔼 On The Water! Virginia alum Sky Dahl claimed a gold for the United States in the PR3 Mixed Coxed Four at the 2026 World Rowing Championships this week in Amsterdam, Netherlands!

🔼 Leadership Role! Virginia baseball head coach Chris Pollard has been named the Vice President of the ABCA!
