Dontayvion Wicks, who wore No. 3 for his final three seasons with the Hoos from 2020-22, caught 90 passes for 1,694 yards and 12 touchdowns in his Virginia career!

🔼 Are You Ready For Some Football? The Wahoos open their fourth season under head coach Tony Elliott on Saturday night, when they host Coastal Carolina in a 6 o’clock game that will air on ACC Network. That’s the first of seven home games for Virginia this fall.

“It’s game week,” Elliott said Tuesday at his weekly media availability. “It’s finally here.”

🔼 No Scoring Allowed. Virginia women’s soccer goalkeeper Victoria Safradin already has some hardware on the shelf this season, earning ACC Defensive Player of the Week!

Safradin helped the Cavaliers post a pair of shutouts last week with a 3-0 victory over Xavier and a 2-0 victory at Liberty. In the win over the Musketeers, Safradin tied a career high with six saves to preserve the clean sheet. She then followed it up with a trio of saves against the Flames.
