🔼 Stoked For Doak! Virginia running back Peyton Lewis has been named to the 2026 Doak Walker Award Watch List!

Lewis joined the Cavalier football program in January after transferring from the University of Tennessee, where he spent the previous two seasons (2024-25). While with the Volunteers, he appeared in 23 games, a span in which he averaged 4.7 yards per carry and tallied 10 touchdowns. Additionally, Lewis was honored as a Fourth Team Preseason All-ACC selection by Athlon Sports.

🔼 Encore! When Zachary Ehrenpreis received an invitation to the MLS College Showcase after his freshman season, the University of Virginia men’s soccer program held its collective breath.

In his long tenure as head coach at his alma mater, George Gelnovatch has sent countless players to the professional ranks. He knew Ehrenpreis’ play last season had piqued the interest of pro clubs, and there was no guarantee the left-footed defender would return for UVA for another season.

Will Brice, who wore No. 10 for Virginia from 1993-96, was a four-time All-ACC punter and an All-American in the 1995 season for the Hoos.
