🔼 Center Stage. Virginia football’s Brady Wilson has been named to the 2025 Rimington Trophy Watchlist, the Boomer Esiason Foundation announced over the weekend!
Wilson, who transferred to UVA from University of Alabama at Birmingham, earned his way on to the list for the third consecutive year and is one of nine ACC centers on the list.

🔼 Standing Tall. For University of Virginia junior Victoria Safradin, summer break was no vacation. After the spring semester ended at UVA, she trained with two National Women’s Soccer League teams as well as the United States’ U20 national team before returning to Grounds late last month.
All that soccer meant Safradin wasn’t able to spend much time at home with her family in Eastlake, Ohio, near Cleveland. Still, for someone who’s been consumed by sport since she was young, it was a summer to remember.

🔼 Non-Con Set. Virginia women’s hoops has announced its full non-conference schedule for the upcoming season, which includes eight games inside John Paul Jones Arena!

🔼 Next Gen. In the men’s practice gym at John Paul Jones Arena, a whistle hangs around the neck of Ryan Odom. A laptop rests in the hands of Matt Hart.
Welcome to college basketball in 2025. As the game continues to evolve, more and more coaches are employing analytics as a resource. At the University of Virginia, Odom’s staff includes Hart, the program’s director of analytics. Hart held that position at Virginia Commonwealth University until this spring, when he followed Odom from Richmond to Charlottesville.

🔼 Owning His Role. We only have 19 more days until Virginia football is back on the field for its 2025 season opener at Scott Stadium against Coastal Carolina!
Grady Brosterhous, who wears No. 19 for the Hoos, rushed the ball 10 times in 2024 and scored four touchdowns!
