🔼 Wimbledon Winners. The All England Club has been welcoming to Virginia women’s tennis alums Emma Navarro and Danielle Collins, as the pair are the last two Americans standing as Wimbledon enters the quarterfinal rounds!

🔼 Lending A Hand. Virginia golfers Ben James and Amanda Sambach played a major factor in Team USA’s win over Team International at the Arnold Palmer Cup over the weekend in Lahinch, Ireland!
Sambach earned two total points for Team USA thanks to a pair of wins, while James earned a point and a half with one win and a tie.

🔼 Tip Top. Virginia men’s lacrosse has brought in the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, according to Inside Lacrosse!
Lars Tiffany officially announced the group on July 5, which features five Inside Lacrosse five-star prospects, the most among all programs nationally.
🔼 Hoo Honored. Virginia women’s swimmer Gretchen Walsh has been named the ACC’s Mary Garber Award Winner, presented to the female student-athlete of the year in the conference!
Walsh has racked up the awards this season — she was also named the ACC Women’s Swimmer of the Year, the ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the Honda Sport Award, the Collegiate Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America Swimmer of the Year, and broke four American records at the ACC Championship.
And now she’s set to represent the United States at the Paris Olympics!

Victoria Safradin Called For Duty With Croatian National Team. Safradin, a sophomore goalkeeper for the Hoos, will join the team for the European Championship qualification matches against Wales and Ukraine.
