LaMonica has spent the last 14 seasons as the head coach at Towson, where she compiled 139 wins and seven NCAA Tournament appearances. Her Towson squads won four Colonial Athletic Association Tournament Championships, and LaMonica has won CAA Coach of the Year five times.
Welcome to Virginia, Coach LaMonica!
🔼 All-Time Honor. Virginia head baseball coach Brian O’Connor is a 2024 ABCA Hall of Famer!
The 10-member 2024 ABCA Hall of Fame class was announced on Wednesday. It is the highest honor bestowed by the organization.
O’Connor has led the Virginia baseball program for 20 years now, and has taken the Hoos to six College World Series.
🔼 Finally A Wahoo. Virginia was the first school that new UVA men’s lacrosse associate head coach Kevin Cassese fell in love with as a high school player.
A quarter-century later, Cassese is finally a Wahoo. Head coach Lars Tiffany calls Cassese his best recruit ever.
🔼 Get To The QB. Patrick Kerney sacked opposing quarterbacks 24 times during his time with the Hoos - the two-dozen sacks ranks third in school history.
Kerney was drafted in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons, and went on to another 82.5 sacks in the NFL.
Only 58 more days until Virginia football!
🔼 Guess Hoos Back. Hard work pays off - just let Virginia men’s golf alum Ben Kohles tell you.
