🔼 Kicked Off. Virginia football had its turn at the ACC Kickoff in Charlotte yesterday!

Head coach Tony Elliott spoke about setting an example, Chico Bennett Jr. talked about calling Virginia home, Kam Butler spoke on having patience and Tony Muskett said the Hoos are a complete roster — check out all the highlights here!

🔼 CPA to UVA to USA. Virginia swimming and diving head coach Todd DeSorbo and UVA McIntire School professor Jeffrey Lovelace don’t exactly have similar jobs.

But their paths to get here were similar, which gives them the bond they share — frequently over burgers or tacos. Now, Lovelace is excited to cheer on DeSorbo as Team USA’s women’s swimming head coach in Paris.

🔼 Air-Traffic Control. Virginia softball head coach Joanna Hardin has announced the hiring of Caty Reeves, who will serve as the Hoos’ Director of Operations and Player Development.

Reeves has spent the past five seasons on the coaching staff at Abilene Christian, serving as the associate head coach for the past two seasons.

🔼 Developing Hoos. Virginia women’s basketball head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton has added Jackson Kenyon to her staff as the Director of Scouting and Player Development.

Kenyon spent last season as a video coordinator for Winthrop’s women’s basketball program.
