🔼 Crushing It In The Classroom. Virginia men’s basketball has been honored with a Team Academic Excellence Award by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

On top of the team honor, six Cavaliers - Francisco Caffaro, Chase Coleman, Jayden Gardner, Tristan How, Kadin Shedrick and Ben Vander Plas - were named to the NABC Honors Court.

Head coach Lars Tiffany has announced the incoming signing class of 2023, and we see a whole lot of future stars - Chase Band, Wills Burt, Caulley Deringer, Will Erdmann, Kian McCarthy, Henry Metz, McCabe Millon, Eli Petty, Luke Pisani and Cole Webber.

Head women’s basketball coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton has announced a promotion for Popovic, who will now serve as assistant coach/video coordinator for the upcoming season.
