🔼 Ready To Rock. Sonia LaMonica is just about two weeks into replacing 28-year Virginia women’s lacrosse head coach Julie Myers.

So far, she really loves what she sees in Charlottesville.

“This place has everything,” LaMonica said. “It’s got the esteemed academics. It’s got a vibrant community. It’s got, obviously, incredible athletics across the board. It really has so much to sell. I’m excited to be able to really go after top recruits in the country who are in alignment with our values, and I think that’s gonna help catapult us.”
