Only 45 more days until the Hoos are back on the field against Richmond!
🔼Back For More.Jay Woolfolk’s career stats at Virginia — 134 innings and 160 strikeouts…and counting!
The righty has announced he’s coming back for another season with the Hoos!
🔼Book Smarts. Virginia men’s and women’s track and field had 20 student-athletes recognized on the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic team this week.
🔼Right Place, Right Time.Joe Bottner has played lacrosse for more than 50 years. For the past 35 years after graduating from UVA, he has served as an emergency physician on Long Island.
Those two passions came crashing together this summer in Vail, when one of his teammates collapsed on the field and required CPR.
Paul Thomas, another teammate, tells the tale.

🔼Hall Makes The Hall. Congrats to Virginia men’s basketball alum Devon Hall on being inducted into the Cape Henry Collegiate Athletics Hall of Fame!
Hall played 128 games for Virginia from 2014-2018, scoring 884 points during his collegiate career.

Heidi Long To Compete For Great Britain At Paris 2024 Olympic Games.The former Virginia rower is part of Great Britain’s Women’s Eight and will begin competition on Monday, July 29.
