🔼 O’Ferrall To The O’Rioles. Virginia shortstop Griff O’Ferrall had a dream come true last night, hearing his named called on the first night of the 2024 MLB Draft!

O’Ferrall was selected by the Baltimore Orioles with the No. 32 overall selection as part of the Prospect Promotion Incentive picks immediately following the first round.

🔼 Two Birds, One Draft. O’Ferrall wasn’t the only Hoo drafted by Baltimore on Sunday — Ethan Anderson was selected by the Orioles with the No. 61 overall selection in the second round!

🔼 Crowd Work. Jasmine Burton is used to making kills on the court, as a 2017 graduate of the Virginia volleyball program.

Now she’s killing it on the comedy circuit, recently being named one of D.C.’s funniest comedians by The Washington Post.

Virginia Baseball To Participate In 2025 Karbach Round Rock Classic. The four-team round robin tournament, which also features Oklahoma, Oregon State and Minnesota, will be held at Dell Diamond, home of the Round Rock Express, the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers.
