🔼 Bookworms. The ACC has released its 68th annual Academic Honor Roll for the 2023-24 academic year, and Virginia placed 538 student-athletes on the list!

A total of 68 Hoos were recognized for a fourth time, 16 were recognized for a fifth time, and Justin McCoy became Virginia’s first-ever six-time honoree.

🔼 One To Go. Virginia field hockey student-athletes Jans Croon, Daniela Mendez-Trendler and Mia Abello are one win away from a 2024 Junior Pan American Championship with Team USA!

The Junior Eagles won in a shootout against Chile on Wednesday, with Croons scoring a game-tying goal in the final 45 seconds of regulation and Mendez-Trendler scoring in the shootout.

Team USA will play for gold today at 8 p.m. against Argentina in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

Bell, a standout midfielder for the Hoos from 2017-19, will make his second Olympic appearance for his home country of New Zealand.
