🔼 Hoos Talkin’. Virginia football head coach Tony Elliott, along with offensive lineman Noah Josey, edge Mitchell Melton, defensive tackle Jahmeer Carter and quarterback Chandler Morris are in Charlotte, N.C., today to participate at ACC Kickoff!

🔼 Win Again. Virginia men’s tennis’ Dylan Dietrich earned another singles win representing Switzerland at the World University Games on Monday, and has made the quarterfinals of the tournament!

🔼 All Together Now. The American Volleyball Coaches Association has announced that Virginia is a recipient of the organization’s Team Academic Award!

Monday’s announcement marks the Cavaliers’ fifth award in program history and the third consecutive under head coach Shannon Wells. UVA also earned the AVCA Team Academic Award in 2020 and 2004.

🔼 Court Clout. Both Virginia men’s and women’s tennis were honored with academic awards from the ITA on Monday — the men earned the ITA Team Award for the 11th year in a row and placed eight on the ITA All-Academic Scholar Athlete team, while the women earned the same team recognition and placed nine individuals on the list.

🔼 Cavalier Leader. We only have 39 more days until Virginia football is back on the field for its 2025 season opener at Scott Stadium against Coastal Carolina!

Chico Bennett Jr. finished off his Virginia career with 39 tackles last year during his senior season, including 7.5 tackles for loss.
