🔼 FANS FIRST! As part of Virginia’s ongoing effort to increase fan engagement and attendance across all sports, several early-season home football contests have been designated as Fan First Games and feature reduced pricing!
These exclusive early-season offers as well as single-game tickets for the upcoming season go on sale to the public Wednesday, July 16 at 9 a.m. Those games include Coastal Carolina (Aug. 30), William & Mary (Sept. 13), Stanford (Sept. 20), Florida State (Sept. 26), Washington State (Oct. 18) and Wake Forest (Nov. 8).

🔼 Hey Now, You’re An All-Star! Former Virginia pitcher Andrew Abbott made his first MLB All-Star appearance with the Cincinnati Reds last night!

🔼 Coming Together. Three of the most decorated athletes in Virginia and women’s swimming history, Kate Douglass, Alex Walsh, and Gretchen Walsh, announced yesterday a collective commitment to establish the Olympic Endowed Scholarship for Women’s Swimming Fund, a new scholarship that will benefit a student-athlete on the University of Virginia’s women’s swimming team. With a 50% match from the Virginia Athletics Foundation (VAF), the scholarship will ensure long-term impact and support for generations of future student-athletes.

🔼 An Inspiration. We only have 45 more days until Virginia football is back on the field for its 2025 season opener at Scott Stadium against Coastal Carolina!
Reed Kellam went from walk-on to team leader during his time playing at Virginia, earning the honor of being the first to select his jersey number before the 2019 season — he chose No. 45.
