🔼 Beekman Is Back. Reece Beekman woke up on May 31, deadline day for whether he was going to keep his name in the NBA Draft or return to Virginia for another season, without his mind made up.
He ended the day the most popular man in Charlottesville, as he eventually made the decision to play another year with the Hoos.
🔼 Omaha On The Line. Virginia baseball matches up against a familiar foe this weekend in Charlottesville, although when the Hoos take on Duke at the Dish, it’ll be for more than positioning in the ACC Coastal - the winner of this weekend’s Charlottesville Super Regional punches its ticket to Omaha for the College World Series.

🔼 Finals Booked. Margot Appleton clinched a spot in the women’s 1,500m finals with a semifinal run of 4:09.83 on Thursday, good for third place in her heat.
Appleton, the ACC champion in the 1,500m, will race in her second NCAA final on Saturday.
Sophie Atkinson also raced on Thursday, finishing up her season in the women’s 10,000m, racing to an 18th place finish in 34:51.58.
🔼 Work To Do. Team USA fell behind Team International on Day One of the Arnold Palmer Cup, and trails 6.5-5.5 heading into Day Two.
Virginia’s Ben James and Amanda Sambach both lost their mixed fourball matches on Day One, and will look to rebound today.
