🔼 Back On Grounds. Virginia men’s basketball has announced the return of associate head coach Ron Sanchez to the program for the 2023-24 season!
Sanchez worked under Tony Bennett for nine seasons from 2009-18, serving as the associate head coach for the last three and impacting one of the most successful stretches in Hoo basketball history. For the past five years, Sanchez served as the head coach at Charlotte.
Welcome back, Coach Sanchez!

🔼 Team Bonding. In our opinion, there’s no better way to gel as a team than heading to Busch Gardens and eating giant turkey legs together!
Virginia football must agree - because that’s exactly what they did!

🔼 NCAA Veteran. Four-time ACC champion and two-time All-American Ethan Dabbs is set to compete in his third NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas this evening in the javelin.
Dabbs finished second at last year’s NCAA Championships with a throw of 79.68m.
The Hoos have nine total athletes competing at the NCAA Championships - Dabbs (javelin), Nate Mountain (steeplechase), Derek Johnson (steeplechase), Conor Murphy (800m), Owayne Owens (triple jump), Sophie Atkinson (10,000m), Alix Still (heptathlon), Ashley Anumba (discus) and Margot Appleton (1,500m).

🔼 Time For Baseball. Make your weekend plans now! Dates and times have been announced for No. 7 Virginia’s Super Regional matchup in Charlottesville against ACC foe Duke.
📅 Game One: Friday, June 9 @ Noon ET (ESPN2)
📅 Game Two: Saturday, June 10 @ Noon ET (ESPN2)
