🔼 U-S-A! U-V-A! Kate Douglass is the latest Hoo to claim a spot on the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team, winning the 100 Free on Wednesday night in Indianapolis!

And that wasn’t all — Douglass’ encore was the semifinals of the 200 Breast, in which she set a meet record with a time of 2:19.66, just .036 shy of her American record time.

Gretchen Walsh also swam well in the 100 Free, finishing third to qualify for her second event of the Paris Games.

🔼 Triple Threat. Add them to the list — Casey Saucke (third team — Perfect Game), Henry Ford (first-team freshman — Perfect Game) and Jacob Ference (second team — NCBWA) have all earned All-America honors!

🔼 Record Breakers. Virginia men’s lacrosse continues to be one of the best programs in the country, on and off the field — a program-record 29 Hoos have been named to the All-ACC Academic Team!

Cole Kastner and Connor Shellenberger both became four-time selections, becoming two of only six players in program history to earn that distinction.

🔼 Impressive List. The ACC has announced its 2024 All-ACC Academic Women’s Lacrosse team, and an impressive 15 Hoos made the list!

Mackenzie Hoeg highlights the list with her fourth selection, followed by Maggie Bostain with her third.
