🔼 Game Day! Finally, the Hoos are back on the field tonight!
Virginia takes on Florida at 7:00pm ET on ESPN in Omaha, in UVA’s first game of the 2023 College World Series.
The Hoos and Gators both sit at 50 wins this season, and both teams do a lot of damage with the long ball. Florida’s Jac Caglianone leads all of Division I with 31 home runs, and is followed by four teammates who all have at least 16 this season.

🔼 Offensive Anchor. Morgan Moses, who played from 2010-13 at Virginia, was an All-ACC offensive lineman during his time on Grounds.
Moses, who wore No. 78 for the Hoos, made 43 career starts for Virginia before being selected by Washington in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He has made 130 starts in the NFL over nine seasons, and enters the 2023 season as a member of the Baltimore Ravens.

🔼 Nine More. Virginia football has announced the addition of nine preferred walk-on players to the fall roster, all of whom will arrive at UVA this weekend to enroll in Summer Session II.
Nana Appouh (Herndon), Rob Keys (Chantilly), Andy Lutes (Salem), Hayden Rollison (Richmond), Gabe Sneed (Big Stone Gap) and Justin Stewart (Alexandria) all hail from Virginia, and are joined by Claiborne Richards (Nashville, Tenn.), Elijah Silbeck (Indianapolis, Ind.) and Dane Steele (Charlotte, N.C.).
