🔼 Back To Omaha! 2009, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2021, 2023 and now 2024 — After defeating Kansas State in the Charlottesville Super Regional, Virginia baseball is headed back to the College World Series for the third time in the last four seasons and seventh time in program history!

🔼 National Champ! Virginia’s Shane Cohen is the national champion in the men’s 800m!

Cohen executed his race plan to perfection in the 800m final, coming from the back of the pack before surging the last 120 meters, swinging wide to outkick the stacked field to finish in 1:44.97 and claim the NCAA title.

This is the fourth title in the event for Virginia, as Cohen joins Robby Andrews (2011) and Paul Ereng (1988, 1989).

🔼 Back-To-Back. Margot Appleton is a First Team All-American is the 5000m run!

Appleton ran a fantastic strategical race, sticking with the second group of runners after the race separated and crossing the finish line in 15:24.24 to finish fourth overall.

She has now earned First Team All-American honors in back-to-back outdoor seasons, earning the honor in the 1500m run last season.
