🔼 In The Field. Virginia men’s golf continued its strong play this week — current Hoos Ben James and Bryan Lee along with former Hoo George Duangmanee all punched their ticket to the 125th U.S. Open on Monday, on what is affectionately called “Golf’s Longest Day.”

🔼 Red, White & Hoo. Virginia women’s lacrosse’s Kate Galica is one of 24 players from across the country who have earned an invite to the US National Team Training Camp in preparation for this year’s Pan-American Women’s Lacrosse Championship!

🔼 Tune In. He left his hometown of Jacksonville, Fla., and arrived on Grounds in January 2019. Six-plus years later, safety Antonio Clary is preparing for his final season on the UVA football team.

🔼 Academic All-Stars. Virginia women’s tennis had three players named Academic All-American on Tuesday — Elaine Chervinsky was named First Team Academic All-American, Melodie Collard was named Second Team and Annabelle Xu was named Third Team.

🔼 Strong Swim. Virginia swimmers are competing at Toyota Nationals this week — stay up to date with results by following along with the Hoos on social!

🔼 Big Play Threat. We have 87 days until Virginia football is back on the field in its season opener at Scott Stadium against Coastal Carolina!

The No. 87 belongs to one of the best wide receivers in Virginia history, Herman Moore. A two-time All-American at Virginia, Moore caught 114 passes for 2,504 yards and 27 touchdowns during his time in Charlottesville. During his senior season in 1990, Moore led the ACC in yards and touchdowns and finished sixth in Heisman Trophy voting.
