🔼 TrackTown Bound. Virginia track and field finished up its stay at the NCAA East Preliminaries over the weekend, with a quartet of athletes from both the men’s and women’s team punching their tickets to the NCAA Championships on the final days of competition!

🔼 Top 10. Virginia rowing concluded its season on Sunday, finishing 10th at the NCAA Championships at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.
UVA’s Second Varsity Eight finished sixth, the Varsity Eight placed 11th and the Varsity Four finished 14th in their respective championship races.

🔼 Lasting Legacy. Best of luck to Virginia men’s lacrosse assistant coach Kip Turner, a vital member of several national championship teams with the Hoos, who has announced he is stepping away from coaching.
🔼 Historic Hoo. We have 89 days until Virginia football is back on the field in its season opener at Scott Stadium against Coastal Carolina!
Heath Miller wore No. 89 during his time playing for the Hoos, collecting 144 catches, 1,703 yards and 20 touchdowns from 2002-04. Miller was a first-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2005, and hauled in nearly 600 catches during his NFL career.

Five Virginia Football Kickoff Times, TV Designations Announced. The Cavaliers’ season opener against Coastal Carolina (Aug. 30) kicks off from Scott Stadium at 6 p.m. on ACC Network.
