🔼 From The AD’s Desk. Virginia Director of Athletics Carla Williams has released a letter to Wahoo Nation discussing the recent House Settlement, which officially begins a new era of college athletics.

🔼 Challenge Accepted. The ACC/SEC Men’s Basketball Challenge matchups have been set — the Hoos will travel to Texas to take on the Longhorns on Dec. 3!

🔼 Knockin’ On The ‘Dore. Virginia women’s hoops also learned its opponent for the 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge — the Hoos will travel to Nashville for a matchup at Vanderbilt on Dec. 3!

🔼 Onto The Finals. Virginia track and field’s Margot Appleton is into the finals of the women’s 1,500m at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, running a 4:11.64 to move through the semifinal round on Thursday.

Annika Kelly also competed in the women’s hammer throw, earning All-American status with a 14th-place finish with a toss of 64.87m.

🔼 Tune In. The top returning wideout on the UVA football team, Trell Harris caught 15 passes for 221 yards and two TDs in 2024 despite missing most of the season with an injury. Harris began his college career at Kent State.

🔼 Anchor Up Front. We only have 78 more days until Virginia football is back on the field for its 2025 season opener at Scott Stadium against Coastal Carolina!

Morgan Moses wore No. 78 for the Hoos from 2010-13, starting 36 games along the offensive line during his final three seasons on Grounds. Moses is entering his 11th season in the NFL, signing a free agent deal with the New England Patriots this offseason.

His 420 wins are the most by a head coach in Duke baseball history.
