🔼 Day One Done. Virginia men’s track and field kicked off the NCAA Championships on Wednesday, with Keyandre Davis earning second team All-American honors in the men’s hammer throw and Gary Martin advancing to the final in the men’s 1500 meters.

🔼 Golf ACColades. The ACC champion Virginia men’s golf group was well-represented in the conference’s postseason awards announcement this week, with each of Paul Chang, Ben James and Bryan Lee earning a spot on the All-ACC team and head coach Bowen Sargent earning ACC Coach of the Year honors!

🔼 The Highest Level. Former Virginia women’s basketball player Jenny Boucek is making a major impact on this year’s NBA Finals as an assistant coach for the Indiana Pacers!

🔼 Coaching For Her Country. Virginia assistant swimming coach Courtney Caldwell has been selected by USA Swimming as an assistant coach for the 2025 World Aquatics Championships, which will be held July 27-August 3 in Singapore!

🔼 Doing It All. We only have 79 more days until Virginia football is back on the field for its 2025 season opener at Scott Stadium against Coastal Carolina!

Olamide Zaccheaus has the most catches in Virginia program history with 250, but did you know he also carried the ball 79 times for 551 yards?

Chris Pollard Named Head Baseball Coach at the University of Virginia. Pollard, who grew up in Amherst County, arrives in Charlottesville after spending the last 13 seasons at Duke, leading the Blue Devils to a 420-296 record, seven NCAA tournament berths, four Super Regional appearances and two ACC Baseball Tournament championships. His 420 wins are the most by a head coach in Duke baseball history.
