📈 STOCK UP

🔼  The Next Step! He worked out Adeang Ring at John Paul Jones Arena a few times. Otherwise, Aaron Roussell has rarely been on the court since being hired in April to lead the University of Virginia women’s basketball program.

“By the time the roster had been put together, finals were coming, and so we weren't able to be out there with [players],” Roussell said.

That’s what makes next week such an important one for the Cavaliers’ coaching staff. Roussell’s first UVA team convenes Monday for the start of summer workouts at JPJ.

🔼  Terrific Trio! Virginia men’s golfers Paul Chang, Ben James and Bryan Lee each earned All-America status from PING/Golf Coaches Association of America and Golfweek on Wednesday!

🔼  He’s All That! Virginia outfielder AJ Gracia has been named a Second Team All-American by Perfect Game!

The All-American selection is the first of Gracia’s career, while he becomes the first Cavalier to land second team honors from Perfect Game since Connelly Early in 2023.

🔼  On The World Stage! Former Virginia men’s soccer standouts Derrick Etienne (Haiti) and Joe Bell (New Zealand) are set to represent their countries at the FIFA World Cup this month!

🔼  New Name! The University of Virginia’s sports precinct has a new name.

Fans headed west on Massie Road from Emmett Street – as you approach John Paul Jones Arena and the Harrison Family Olympic Sports Center – might notice signage for the “Ramon W. Breeden Athletics Grounds.”

Today’s Trivia Question: How many multi-hit games did AJ Gracia collect this season with Virginia baseball?
