🔼 Ticket Punched. Virginia women’s golf shot a 3-over 295 in Wednesday’s final round of the NCAA Cle Elum Regional, finishing third as a team and punching its ticket to the NCAA Championships later this month in Carlsbad, Calif.!
The Hoos were led by All-American Amanda Sambach, who birdied four holes on the back-nine to finish 2-under overall and place third individually.
🔼 Record Scratch. No. 10 Virginia baseball hit six home runs in a 18-5 run-rule victory over George Washington on Wednesday, and set the single-season program record for long balls in the process!
Ethan Anderson, Anthony Stephan, Harrison Didawick, Aidan Teel, Bobby Whalen and Eric Becker all contributed to the home run parade for the Hoos, who officially wrapped up non-conference play with the win.

🔼 Raise The Stakes. The postseason is upon Virginia softball, as the No. 4 seed Hoos take on No. 5 seed Clemson in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals today at 1:30 p.m. in Durham, N.C.
Virginia and Clemson played a three-game series back in March, with the Hoos taking two-of-three from the then-No. 11 Tigers in Charlottesville.

🔼 Close To The Finish Line. Virginia track and field also gets its postseason run (see what we did there!) started today at the ACC Outdoor Championships in Atlanta.
The men’s and women’s 10,000-meter champions will be crowned today, as will the men’s and women’s hammer throw, men’s and women’s javelin and men’s pole vault.
