🔼 Coastal Closing. We’ve got two weeks left in the regular season, and Virginia baseball has two great opportunities to move up in the ACC standings before it heads to Durham for the conference tournament. Here’s where things stand in the ACC Coastal:

1. Duke: 14-9 in ACC play

2. Miami: 14-10

3. Virginia: 13-11

4. North Carolina: 11-11

5. Virginia Tech: 11-12

6. Georgia Tech: 10-14

7. Pitt: 9-13

Duke and Miami, the two teams Virginia is currently chasing, play each other in a pivotal series to end the regular season. The Hoos have series against Louisville (9-15 in ACC play) and Georgia Tech remaining.

🔼 Time To Move Up. Virginia women’s golf sits in a tie for sixth place after day one of the Westfield, Indiana NCAA Regional.

The Hoos shot a 1-under 287 on the day, just one shot behind Iowa State and Oregon for fourth place. ACC champion Amanda Sambach led the way for Virginia, shooting a 3-under 69 that puts her in a tie for fifth heading into day two.
