⚾️ Midweek matinee
⚔️ And much, much more!
📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Movin’ Up. With low scores hard to come by, Virginia women’s golf shot 8-over on Day 2 of the NCAA Cle Elum Regional to move up a spot into third place with one round remaining.
All-American Amanda Sambach led the Hoos with a 1-under round and sits in fifth place individually. Sambach was one of just six players to shoot below par on Tuesday.
🔼 Going Pro. A pair of Virginia men’s lacrosse players had their professional dreams come true Tuesday — Connor Shellenberger and Cole Kastner were both selected in the 2024 Premier Lacrosse League College Draft!
Shellenberger was drafted No. 2 overall to the New York Atlas, and Kastner was selected in the fourth round by the California Redwoods.
🔼 Development > Results. Football typically grabs the headlines during the spring, but this time of year is crucial for each of fall sports at Virginia.
Cross country, field hockey, volleyball and men’s and women’s soccer players all spend the blooming season honing their skills for when the academic calendar flips over in the fall.

🔼 Hello, Mr. President. No. 10 Virginia baseball’s final midweek contest of the regular season is here, with George Washington in town today for a 1 p.m. first pitch at the Dish.
The Hoos and Revolutionaries got together for a high-scoring affair back on March 6 in Washington D.C., with Virginia winning 26-12. Griff O’Ferrall, Henry Ford, Casey Saucke, Harrison Didawick, Henry Godbout, Jacob Ference and Eric Becker all drove in at least two runs in that game.
🔼 In Conclusion. As the finish line nears, Jacob Lemmon can look back at his five years at the University of Virginia and marvel at all he’s experienced away from the state of Florida, where he was born and raised.
Lemmon will have two seasons of eligibility left after this school year ends — one in indoor track & field and the other outdoors — and he’ll spend them at the University of Florida. But he’ll leave UVA with two degrees and an impressive body of work as a thrower.
