🔼 Hoos Choice Awards. Kate Douglass and Iñaki Montes took home the top honors at the Hoos Choice Awards on Sunday, earning the IMP Award as UVA’s top female athlete and WINA Award for top male athlete, respectively.
🔼 How Sweet It Is. Three is officially a streak - UVA women’s tennis is headed back to the NCAA Tournament Round of 16 for the third straight year after a 4-0 win over Princeton on Saturday.
After the Hoos snagged the doubles point to begin play, Melodie Collard, Sara Ziodato and Annabelle Xu all won singles matches to clinch the victory. Xu, who rebounded from a 6-0 first-set loss to win in three sets, was the clinching point.
🔼 Onto The Next. UVA men’s tennis is into the Round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament thanks to a Sunday win over Ole Miss, 4-0.
A quick doubles point victory was followed by singles victories from Jeffrey von der Schulenburg, Ryan Goetz and Alexander Kiefer.
🔼 Holland Remembered. The UVA family gathered over the weekend to pay respects to the legendary Terry Holland, the former Cavalier basketball coach and athletics director.

🔼 Heartland Hoos. UVA women’s golf is in Westfield, Indiana this morning to start play as the No. 5 seed in its NCAA Regional at The Club at Chatham Hills.
The top five teams in the Regional will advance to the NCAA Championships, where the Hoos have made an appearance 12 times in their 19-year program history.
🔼 Seeds Planted. Let the games begin! Matchups have been set for the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Championships.
