🔼 Movin’ On. No. 3 seed Virginia men’s tennis made quick work of its opponents in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament over the weekend, taking down both NJIT and VCU by way of 4-0 sweeps at the Virginia Tennis Facility at the Boar’s Head Resort.
It was an important bounce-back weekend for the Hoos, who lost in the ACC Tournament final to Florida State back on April 21, snapping a streak of 62 consecutive conference wins.

🔼 Still Goin’. Virginia women’s tennis was just as dominant as the men’s squad over the weekend, sweeping both LIU and Princeton to advance to next weekend’s NCAA Round of 16 versus Vanderbilt, which will also be played in Charlottesville.

🔼 We’re Dancing! Virginia women’s lacrosse has earned the No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament, and will host LIU in the first round at 3 p.m. on Friday at Klöckner Stadium!

Despite losing 18-9 to No. 1 seed Notre Dame in the ACC Tournament semifinals on Friday, it was a historic day for Virginia men’s lacrosse stars Payton Cormier and Connor Shellenberger — Cormier became the ACC’s all-time goals leader in the game (214), while Shellenberger topped the all-time assist mark (185).

🔼 Now Teeing Off. No. 24 Virginia women’s golf gets play underway at the NCAA Regional in Cle Elum, Wash. today, teeing off alongside San Jose State and Washington at 9 a.m.
The Hoos, the No. 4 seed at their Regional site, are hoping to be one of the top-five teams in order to advance to the NCAA Championships.
🔼 Four Score. The dust has settled on Virginia softball’s regular season, and the Hoos have earned the No. 4 seed in the upcoming ACC Tournament thanks to a 15-9 record in conference play.
Virginia will open against fifth-seeded Clemson in the quarterfinals on Thursday, with first pitch set for 1:30 p.m. in Durham, N.C.
