Griff O’Ferrall led the charge for the Hoos, going 3-for-4 with three extra-base knocks and three runs scored.

Ethan O’Donnell was also a big contributor, driving in four runs and extending UVA’s lead late.

Virginia is back in action again tonight, taking on James Madison at the Dish at 6:00pm ET.

🔼 Road Zeroes. No better way to go into the postseason than shutting out your opponent on its home field - Virginia went on the road Tuesday evening and blanked Longwood, winning 3-0.

A first inning Longwood error allowed Jade Hylton to score from second, and it turned out that’s all the Hoos needed.

Molly Grube, Mikayla Houge, Savanah Henley and Eden Bigham combined for the shutout. Henley, who threw two innings, earned her first win of the year.

Robinson, a 6-foot-10, 238-pound forward/center, averaged a double-double last year for Christ School in Arden, N.C., helping the team win a NCISAA 4A state championship.

🔼 Tribute Speakers. UVA has announced the list of speakers for the tribute to former basketball coach and administrator Terry Holland, which will be held at John Paul Jones Arena on Saturday, May 6 at 2:00pm ET.

UVA great Ralph Sampson will share moderator duties with ESPN basketball analyst and former UVA assistant Seth Greenberg.

🔼 Academic Acumen. UVA student-athletes are crushing it on and off the playing field, once again displaying impressive results in the Academic Progress Rate (APR) Institutional Report released by the NCAA.

As a whole, UVA’s multi-year score was well above average among its peers. Women’s golf, women’s lacrosse, softball and field hockey all posted perfect multi-year scores.

🤔 HOOS TRIVIA

Not Simply Average. Virginia baseball has an embarrassment of riches in its lineup. All the way up and down, it’s hard to find anything looking remotely like a weak link.

In fact, the Hoos as a team are hitting .333 this season. Where does that rank among all Division-I lineups?
