🔼 Baker’s Dozen. No. 4 seed Virginia baseball got off to a great start at the ACC Championships on Wednesday, beating Georgia Tech 13-0 in seven innings.

Home runs from Harrison Didawick, Henry Godbout and Casey Saucke supplied part of the offense, and six shutout innings from Evan Blanco proved too much for the Yellow Jackets.

Next up for the Hoos will be a matchup with Florida State tomorrow at 11 a.m.

🔼 Hung Tough. Virginia men’s tennis’ Dylan Dietrich dropped a close match with Ohio State’s Jack Anthrop on Wednesday in the Round of 16 at the NCAA Singles Championships, 7-5, 7-6.

The loss closes out an extremely successful first year at Virginia for Dietrich, who was named the ACC Freshman of the Year.

🔼 Wrapped Up. Virginia women’s tennis had four student-athletes competing at the NCAA Individual Championships over the past week, with Annabelle Xu’s run in the singles draw highlighting the Hoos’ performance.

Xu won two matches, advancing to the Round of 16 before falling on Wednesday. Hibah Shaikh also competed in the singles draw, while Melodie Collard and Elaine Chervinsky competed in doubles.
