🔼 Let’s Get It Started. No. 16 Virginia baseball kicks off postseason play today at Truist Field in Charlotte, N.C. with an ACC Championship first round matchup against Georgia Tech at 11 a.m.
The Hoos, who earned the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament, get another crack at the No. 9 seed Yellow Jackets, who took two-of-three from UVA in Charlottesville back in mid-April.
🔼 Ready For More. Another day, another straight-set victory for Dylan Dietrich in the NCAA Singles Championship!
The Virginia freshman took down Georgia’s Thomas Paulsell in the second round on Tuesday, and will play Jack Anthrop of Ohio State in the Round of 16 today.
🔼 Onward And Upward. Virginia women’s tennis’ Annabelle Xu is into the Round of 16 at the NCAA Singles Championships, winning in straight sets over Florida State’s Vic Allen on Tuesday.
Xu will face top-seeded Mary Stoiana of Texas A&M today for a spot in the tournament’s quarterfinals.
The doubles duo of Elaine Chervinsky and Melodie Collard in their Tuesday match.
🔼 Run Fast Or Run Home. Twenty-nine Virginia track and field athletes (15 men, 14 women) are in Lexington, Ky. this week to compete in the NCAA East Preliminary hosted by the University of Kentucky!
The men will take control of the track on Wednesday and Friday, while the women run on Thursday and Saturday.

🔼 Defending The Title. Virginia field hockey’s Jans Croon, Daniela Mendez-Trendler and Mia Abello have been named to the U.S. U21 team for the 2024 Junior Pan American Championships!
The trio is back for more with the team, after winning the gold medal at the 2023 Pan American Championships in Barbados last year.
