🔼 Coach Elliott Says ‘Thank You’. We recommend you take three minutes this morning and listen to Virginia head football coach Tony Elliott narrate his letter of thanks to the UVA community.
🔼 Rained Out. Virginia men’s tennis’ NCAA Quarterfinal match against Kentucky was suspended just as play got started on Thursday due to weather.
Kentucky took the doubles point before play was suspended, and lead 1-0. Play will be resumed this morning at 10:00am ET.
🔼 Hoos Are Hot. Virginia scored early and often against Georgia Tech on Thursday, winning 12-5 in game one of the series against the Yellow Jackets.
Contributions came from all over - Ethan O’Donnell was 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI, Casey Saucke was 3-for-5 with three RBI, and Kyle Teel was 1-for-4 with four RBI.
Virginia and Georgia Tech are back at it again tonight for game two of the series, with first pitch set for 6:00pm ET.
🔼 Hoos vs. Hoyas. Virginia men’s lacrosse is in upstate New York this weekend to take on No. 7 seed Georgetown in the NCAA Quarterfinals.
The Hoos are coming off an emphatic 17-8 win over Richmond in the first round, led by Payton Cormier, who scored six goals.
The Hoyas took down Yale in the first round in a close 19-17 game, and were led by Brian Minicus’ seven points.
🔼 Party In The Desert. Virginia women’s golf is riding some serious momentum into the NCAA Championships in Scottsdale, Ariz., this weekend.
The Hoos finished second at the ACC Championships a month ago, and third at the NCAA Westfield, Indiana Regional, just three shots behind winner Mississippi State. Amanda Sambach earned medalist honors at both tournaments.
The NCAA Championships will consist of three 18-hole rounds of stroke play before the field gets cut down in each round thereafter, the final team standing playing a total of six rounds.

⚔️ McGovern, Clark Garner ILWomen All-America Honors. Ashlyn McGovern and Rachel Clark have both been named honorable mention All-Americans by ILWomen.
⚔️ Bigham, Hylton Earn NFCA All-Region Honors. Virginia softball freshmen Eden Bigham and Jade Hylton earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association recognition Thursday - Bigham was named a First-Team All-Region member, while Hylton was named Third-Team.
