🔼 Moving Up. Virginia women’s golf shot its way up the leaderboard at the Westfield, Indiana NCAA Regional on Tuesday, shooting a 4-under 287 to move into the crucial top-five.
Amanda Sambach was phenomenal during her 18 holes, shooting 6-under to jump into a tie for first place at 9-under through two rounds.
The final round at the NCAA Regional will be played today, with the top-five teams on the leaderboard advancing to the NCAA Championships later this month in Scottsdale, Arizona.
🔼 See Ya In South Bend. The stage is set - No. 8 seed Virginia softball has a showdown with No. 9 seed Syracuse this afternoon in the first round of the ACC Tournament in South Bend, Indiana.
The Hoos get a shot at revenge against the Orange, having lost three games up in Syracuse in late April.
The winner of this afternoon’s matchup will advance to take on top seed Florida State on Thursday.
🔼 Rad Matinee. Finally, we’ve got Virginia baseball again! After a week away from the diamond, the Hoos are back in action this afternoon at home against Radford.
In its most recent action, Virginia took a pair of midweek matchups last week against VCU and James Madison, scoring 20 runs between the two games.
Radford comes to Charlottesville with a 9-39 record, 1-20 in the Big South.
🔼 Best Of The Best. The ACC on Tuesday confirmed what we already knew - Virginia men’s lacrosse has one of the largest collections of talent in the conference.
Tuesday was a day to remember for McConvey, Dickson and LaSalla - the trio were also selected in the 2023 Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) College Draft.

⚔️ Five Cavaliers Named To CSC Academic All-District Team. Julia Adams and Natasha Subhash from UVA women’s tennis and Chris Rodesch, Iñaki Montes and Jeffrey von der Schulenburg from the men’s team have been named to the 2023 Academic All-District team, as selected by College Sports Communicators.
