Softball is into the ACC Quarterfinals after a walk-off win yesterday against Louisville!

🔼 Back-To-Back-To-Back-To-Back. Virginia women’s golf is headed back to the NCAA Championships for the fourth season in a row after tying for third as a team at the NCAA Charlottesville Regional this week!
The Cavaliers were paced by a fourth-place finish from Megan Propeck who shot an even-par 71 on Wednesday to finish the tournament even at 213. Jaclyn LaHa placed 18th at 4-over 217 and Amanda Sambach placed 23rd at 7-over 220. Rebecca Skoler finished 32nd at 11-over 224.

🔼 Walk It Off. No. 25 Virginia softball picked up a win in the first round of the ACC Championships on Wednesday, using an RBI double from Kelly Ayer in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Louisville, 3-2.
The Hoos trailed 2-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, but scored twice in the frame before Ayer’s double sent the team into today’s quarterfinal round against Clemson.

🔼 Explosive Offense. Virginia baseball’s offense exploded on Wednesday, scoring 19 unanswered runs in a 19-1 win over Towson at the Dish.
Henry Godbout and Jacob Ference both homered twice for the Hoos, while Trey Wells and Walker Buchanan both drove in two runs.

Virginia Athletics continued to score impressive results in the Academic Progress Rate (APR) Institutional Report released by the NCAA on Wednesday, with seven Cavalier programs posting perfect multi-year rates of 1,000 while a total of 18 (of 23) teams had a perfect APR for the 2023-24 academic year.

Ben Wayer, Griffin Schutz Selected In 2025 PLL College Draft. Wayer was drafted 23rd overall by the Philadelphia Waterdogs in the third round, while Schutz was chosen 31st by the California Redwoods in the fourth round.
