🔼  Win Or Go Home! No. 5 seed Virginia men’s lacrosse will play in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament at home this weekend, hosting Georgetown (12-5) on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium!

The Hoos enter the NCAA Tournament red-hot, having won their last three games, including victories over Notre Dame and North Carolina in the ACC Championships.

🔼  Bears In Town! No. 23 Virginia baseball hosts its final ACC series of the regular season this weekend, welcoming Cal to the Dish for three games beginning today at 6 p.m.

The Golden Bears are 25-23 overall this season and 8-16 so far in ACC play.

🔼  Onto NCAAs. No. 6 seed Virginia softball’s ACC Championships run came to an end on Thursday night, losing to No. 3 seed Virginia Tech at Palmer Park, 3-1.

Bella Cabral drove in the lone run for the Hoos on a bases-loaded walk in the seventh inning, scoring Jaiden Griffith.

🔼  Survive And Advance! No. 5 seed Virginia men’s tennis plays in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen today, hosting No. 13 seed South Carolina (18-8) at 5 p.m.!

The Gamecocks earned wins over Richmond and No. 16 Michigan State last weekend to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.

🔼  Sweet Sixteen Showdown! No. 7 seed Virginia women’s tennis plays for a spot in the NCAA Final Rounds in Athens, Ga., tomorrow, hosting No. 10 seed LSU (21-9) at 1 p.m. in Charlottesville!

The Tigers beat Stephen F. Austin and Rice last weekend to advance to this weekend’s matchup with the Hoos.

🔼  Top Of The Craft! Virginia men’s golf associate head coach Dustin Groves has been named the winner of the 2026 Jan Strickland Outstanding Assistant Coach Award presented by TaylorMade Golf Company!

He is the first Cavalier assistant to win the award and the fifth ACC assistant ever to claim the prestigious national honor.

Virginia Men’s Golf Awarded Top Seed at Bermuda Run Regional. The Virginia men’s golf team is the top seed at the Bermuda Run NCAA Regional in Winston-Salem, N.C. scheduled for May 18-20 at Bermuda Run Country Club. The Cavaliers will make their 18th consecutive appearance at an NCAA Regional.
